The Ten Commandments must be love in our hearts and minds.

 JESUS CHRIST our high Priest in the heavenly Sanctuary Temple ministers in GOD’S presence, the holy of holiest where the 10 Commandment law is seen in the ark of the testament [Revelation 11:18,19; 1.King 8:9].

Christians [followers of Jesus] are to worship there by faith: “And He raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in CHRIST JESUS.” [Eph.2:6]

Those heavenly places where GOD and CHRIST dwells are the holy and the most holy places.

Judgment will also take place there: “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of GOD, and the altar, and them that worship therein.” [Revelation 11:1].

“Having therefore Brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of JESUS. By a new and living way, which He has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh. And having an high Priest over the house of GOD.” [Hebrews 10:19-21].

Every item of the Sanctuary represents CHRIST and His salvation. The earthly Sanctuary Temple or Tabernacle was a copy of the heavenly original. GOD was particular and told Moses to make it exactly after the pattern:

                                                                     “Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of GOD when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See saith He, that thou make all things according to the pattern shown to thee in the mount.” [Hebrews 8:5]. [Acts 7:44].

Note: That which was given to Moses was the shadowy system with all the laws and regulations that were against us and done away with at the cross of CHRIST. As soon as JESUS rose and became our great high Priest in the real and original above, the old ceased and became obsolete. We no longer need the shadowy temporal Sanctuary when we now have the original one in heaven to worship in. [Heb 9:8]

The most single evidence of the claims of the 10 Commandments binding on Christians not as a means to salvation, but as a code of conduct and measuring rod and mirror in the new testament or new covenant, is that they are in heaven under the throne of our GOD.

I have been in Christian assemblies where they reasoned that since we are all sinners by nature, one more or less sin doesn’t really matter. Is that what the Bible teaches? Listen:

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  GOD forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into JESUS CHRIST were baptized into His death?.....For he that is dead is freed from sin.” [Romans 6:1-3,7].

“Do we then make void the law through faith? GOD forbid: yeah we establish the law.” This law that we establish is GOD’S holy moral law in the heavenly Temple, in the holy of holiest and not the ceremonial law of Moses with all its Jewish ordinances and regulations.

The apostle Paul wrote that he did not know what sin was, until the law said that you must not covet [Romans 7:7] and again he wrote: “What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? GOD forbid.” [Romans 6:15].

So the New Testament or Covenant clearly teaches that we are to repent and stop sinning pointed out to us by the law of the 10 Commandments.

The Greek word for sin is lawlessness. Christians that want to do away with CHRIST’S seventh day Sabbath usually attack the law of GOD in the heavenly Sanctuary.

Salvation is not about the law but a person, JESUS CHRIST, but it is not a lawless person! JESUS upheld the 10 Commandments by quoting two of them and showed us the deep spirituality of that holy moral law [Matthew 5:17-19] and told us not the slightest comma or point to neglect. He set us the example and resisted sin unto death.

The law is written in our hearts and mind [Hebrews 8+10] and it does not save, it is a code of conduct only, but JESUS is our Saviour who does not save us “IN” but “FROM” sin [Mathew 1:21] And He only saves His people who belong to Him. He cannot save those who do not want to belong. Because it is a spiritual law [Rom.7:7,12,14] it can only be kept by a born again Believer [see Romans 8:7].

Not all want the righteousness of CHRIST expressed in that law to be fulfilled inside us. For this reason He came to earth. He died to pay the price for our sins which nailed Him to the cruel cross:  “For what the law could not do, in that it was weak [or weakened]through the flesh, GOD sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

                                                        That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” [Romans 8:3+4].

Note: no immaculate Mary here! JESUS took on Himself fallen human nature in the likeness of sinful flesh to overcome sin. The R.C.C. has removed the second of the 10 Commandments in order to bring in images and idolatry forbidden by GOD. This would leave us with only 9 commandments as Protestants would like to have it today. But they split the last into two to make up the numbers again and that altered all of them. They also took away CHRIST’S seventh day Sabbath which JESUS is Lord of and gave Him the roman day of the sun from the popular pagan festival of Rome.

Protestant Reformers unitedly identified the man of lawlessness or sin in 2.Thess.2 and the little horn that grew exceedingly great in Daniel 7 as the papacy. But as of late, they have changed to the Roman Catholic view that the little horn is supposed to be Antiochus Epiphanes II. But the description does not fit at all. This ancient Persian ruler lived before CHRIST and therefore cannot be this anti-christ.  Epiphanes also never changed the times and laws of GOD whereas the papacy did. The Persian King did not go the full distance of time. He only lasted 3 years and not 3 ½ as stipulated by the prophecy of Daniel 7:25

Every doctrine held by the Seventh day Adventist Church points to JESUS CHRIST. 1] It is His seventh day, the true Lord’s day [Rev1:10; Matthew 12:8] given to all man and not Jews [Mark 2;28]. 2.] CHRIST’S work as Priest above in the pre-Advent judgment as taught by the sanctuary service..

THE SANCTUARY

God said build Me a sanctuary that I may dwell among you. The Sanctuary is the dwelling place of GOD.  All items signify CHRIST and salvation. The outer curtains represent CHRIST’S robe of spotless righteousness.

JESUS is both the sacrificial lamb and the high Priest of it. This is the centrality of the Gospel at the door of the tabernacle . Only once in the Bible is the floor mentioned [Numbers 5:17], and then it is connected with a curse. It was built in the desert on sand. Man made and man made of dust, has, because of sin, come under the curse but JESUS paid the full price and therefore we are no longer under the law and its condemnation.

The 4 pillars represent the four Gospels. The fine white linen is the righteousness of JESUS and His saints [[Rev19:8]. The blue thread. Blue is the color of heaven and this runs all through the sanctuary.

The scarlet thread. This speaks of sin that caused the death of the Son of GOD. The purple thread. Purple is a mixture made up of blue and scarlet. We must look to heaven and GOD for the forgiveness of sin and not an earthly priest.

The first piece of furniture was the altar of sacrifice where not only did CHRIST die but we must put all our self-interest and idols. The horns. These speak of the power of salvation which is in CHRIST. All the furniture was arranged in the shape of a cross.

"The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while the first Tabernacle [sanctuary temple] was yet standing." [Heb 9:8]
What does this mean? It does not mean its physical destruction in 70 A.D. but the right standing with our GOD: "JESUS, when He cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost, and, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from top to bottom." [Matthew 27:50,51]  This signified the end of the earthly temple services. The real sacrifice to which the first tabernacle had pointed had now come. The heavy veil split in two at the sixth hour [Luke 23:44] the time of the evening sacrifice.
The Roman General had instructed his soldiers to preserve the temple, but someone threw a pitch torch into it. When the soldiers saw all the gold had melted from the heat and had run into the foundation stones, they dug it up and so the words of JESUS: "And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down." [Matthew 24:2] were fulfilled.

The Galatians heresy

Desiring to be under the law 4:21   the difference here is born after the flesh v.23 versus those who are born by the Holy Spirit v.29  “But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” V.26 and compare this to the persecuting earthly mother of Christendom in Revelation 17 which is the great adulterating Whore that has the full support of politics to kill those who cling to the heavenly citizenship by faith in CHRIST.

To be under the law then means not being led by the Holy Spirit and vice versa: If we then are led by the Holy Spirit, we are not under the law 5:18 which means under the condemnation of GOD’S holy law. Cf. Romans 6;14

There is also a second meaning of being under the law. See Gal. 23-29. Before faith came, we were kept under the law. The law was our schoolmaster or Pedagogue to bring us to CHRIST. He was employed by his master to make sure that the children did not play truant. But once we are qualified in the school of JESUS, we are no longer under its condemnation. FAITH does establish the law Romans 3:31 not as a means to salvation, but a code of conduct for the followers of JESUS CHRIST who are to walk even as He walked.  New Testament Christians are under the law of liberty by which we will be judged according to James 2:8-12 . It includes everyone of the 10 Commandments in love for GOD and our fellow men.

Salvation and the Gospel is all about a person and not the law! So true, but, it is not about a lawless PERSON. This argument is often used to minimize the binding claims of the 10 Commandments and the Sabbath of CHRIST and the fourth in particular. We are not under the law but under grace is another popular one.

Isaiah is often called the Gospel prophet. In chapter 42 he prophesied about JESUS CHRIST and how gentle he would be. He would be a covenant of the people and a light to us Gentiles [v.6] but He would also come to magnify the law and make it honorable [v.21]

This agrees with the apostle Paul who wrote that JESUS came because the flesh is weak but that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled inside us [Romans 8:3+4]. This is not only the Christians code of conduct, but part of the new Covenant with us spiritual Israelites written no longer on stone but into our new fleshly hearts and minds [Hebrews chapters 8+10]. Paul says that he had not known sin and lust except that the law said you must not covet. Which law is that? He also said that this particular moral law is holy and good and “SPIRITUAL” [Romans 7:7-14]. If it is intrinsically spiritual, which it is, how could it possibly done away with?

Did JESUS come to magnify that particular law? Yes, He did. He was the only one who perfectly lived it and on His first sermon explained its spirituality by saying that we heard it said of old [O.T.] that you must not commit adultery. But I say, that whosoever looks with lust on a woman has already committed adultery in the heart [mind] and the same about do not murder. He that hates a person is already a murderer. [Matthew 5:17-19].

Many say to us that the words of our Lord in Matthew 5 “FULFILLED” means to do away with.  JESUS said to John the Baptist: suffer it to be so now, for thus it becometh to fulfill all righteousness. If this word “fulfill” means to do away with, then all righteousness or right doing would be abolished.

Paul cites the last table of stone and declares that loving our Neighbours is fulfilling that part of the spiritual law [Romans 13:8-10]

To conclude with, I’d like to point out again, that the most single factor of believing in the binding claims of the holy spiritual moral law of GOD, the 10 Commandments and CHRIST’S Sabbath, is that they are in heaven under the throne of GOD called the mercy seat as our code of conduct written not on stone but in our new fleshly hearts [2.Cor.3] by the spirit of GOD [Heb 8] with love.

To make sure, it is the unrenewed heart that cannot be in harmony with that holy moral and spiritual law of GOD [Romans 8:7] that JESUS fulfills inside us . It is the very object of Satan’s hatred and warfare [Revelation 12:17] and GOD says that He will have such a commandment keeping people on earth in these last days that: “Keep the commandments of GOD and have the faith of JESUS.” [ Revelation 14:12].

Christianity has followed papal Rome in the heresy of sprinkling and falsely calling it baptism. Catholics and Lutherans have murdered the Baptists under state laws.  Satan’s first lie, thou shalt not surely die, is the foundation of all spiritualism yet accepted by all major denominations.  Sunday sacredness also originated with Rome and still bears the title of sun worship today, the day of the sun or Sunday.

JESUS proclaimed Himself the Lord of the Sabbath [Matthew 12:8] and not Sunday in the New Testament and sowith constitutes the only biblical “LORD’S DAY [Revelation 1:10]..JESUS never went to Church on Sundays, so I cannot follow Him there.

While GOD on one hand says that He has His commandment keeping people, He also says that those who have the truth but not the love of it and turn the truth into a lie, will receive a powerful delusion [2.Thessalonians 2]. That delusion appears to be speaking or muttering in tongues from spiritualism. Neo Pentecostals falsely so called, fit the picture of 2.Thess.2  and lawlessness because this is what they are publicly promoting. They say that the 10 Commandments are a law of bondage contradicting the Bible in James 2:10-12 which calls it the law of freedom/liberty.

P.S.

Lawlessness [sin] is not necessarily against law, but less law. i.e. minimizing the law! GOD could have easily pardoned everyone without paying so dearly the penalty for sin on the cruel cross of Calvary.

The Queen once a year pardon’s a prisoner by her grace. Does this mean that this forgiven Criminal [sinner] is now free to offend again? Does this do away with the law that proclaimed him guilty?

“Shall we continue to sin, that grace may abound? GOD forbid! How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?”.---Romans 6:1, 2 .  “By the law is the knowledge of sin.”---Romans 3:20

“For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sin.”---Hebrews 10:26

Salvation is a free gift of GOD to us. Received into the heart by faith, good works will follow the Believer [Eph.2:8-10]. Even faith is called work [                       ]. But only love can respond in the Holy Spirit. Works are the fruit, not the root of Salvation. We are being saved by faith and judged by works [Rev.20:12].

GOD says: “And I will betroth [marry] thee unto Me for ever: yeah, I will betroth thee unto Me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in loving kindness, and in mercies.” [Hosea 2:19,20].

“I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.” [Jer.6:2].

“For thy Maker is thine Husband; the Lord of Hosts is His name: and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel;The GOD of the whole earth shall He be called.” [Isa. 54:5].

Someone wrote to me and objected that the 10 Commandments law should be in heaven under the mercy seat of GOD by saying that there is no sex in heaven. My answer is, we are married to GOD without sex and JAMES 4:4 calls CHRISTIANS enemies of GOD and adulterers and adulteresses who foster friendship with the world. We and angels in heaven can commit spiritual adultery.

The 10 Commandments

Right from the start of the New Testament and the first Sermon on the Mount, JESUS Himself made it very clear that the 10 Commandments of old are now in the spiritual age more important than ever. He said that it would be easier for the whole universe to depart, than the tiniest dot or comma of any of the Decalogue.

He shows us that the new spiritual meaning is a lot deeper than in the Old Testament.  He said that we can now sin in thought and be guilty before the action is carried out [Mathew 5:17-44].

The tiniest dot and title certainly includes the Seventh Day Sabbath of which JESUS Himself is Lord [Matthew 12:8] and therefore it is the Lord’s day [Revelation 1:10].  It is a literal day, the seventh day of the week, aka Saturday.

JESUS also teaches us not to transgress the Sabbath day even under trying circumstance such as fleeing from persecution [Matthew 24:20,21]. All the New Testament people including the new gentiles kept the Sabbath day holy as seen in ACTS of the Apostles [Acts 13;42-44; 16:13].  The continuity of the Seventh Day Sabbath can be seen by GOD Himself saying that in the new earth and the new heaven that He will make, all flesh will come before Him to worship from one Sabbath to another [Isa.66:22,23].

When the rich young ruler came asking what He must do to have eternal life, JESUS answered him that he must keep all the 10 Commandments in order to have eternal life.  But then He did not stop there, he was also asked to sell out and to take up the cross and follow JESUS all the way [Mark 10:17-21].

Note: people that claim that they can sin a 1000 times a day and not loose their salvation, are sincerely mistaken.  If the cross could be so easily bypassed, GOD could have saved the pain and just forgive everybody.  The cross of Calvary shows us the sinfulness of sin.  The apostle Paul as a Jew and Pharisee, especially chosen to evangelize us gentiles, had not known sin except by the law that said “Thou shalt not covet.” Of this same law he said that it was good, holy and spiritual [Romans 7:7-14]. And as it is intrinsically spiritual, it can never be done away with. Christians who do, show that they are not properly converted.

        Dwight Moody said on the 10 Commandments that he never met an honest man that had a quarrel with this law.  He himself kept the Seventh Day Sabbath and termed others who did not, Judases, who come up to JESUS with a kiss while trampling on His holy day.

GOD Himself runs the universe by the 10 Commandments because he says that He keeps them under His throne which He calls the mercy seat [Heb 8:1-5; 9:3-10]. Here under the mercy seat is where we find forgiveness.

James confirms that the 10 Commandment law is the royal law and every one of them will judge us. [James 2:10-12]. This is also confirmed by the Old Testament because God does not change nor has he a different measure for O.T. people. According to [Eccl.12:13,14] we all have the same duty and judgments.  Again, John sees exactly the same in heaven.  He saw on judgment day the very same thing SDA’S saw after the bitter disappointment, namely, heaven’s temple opened on judgment day, the ark of the testament/covenant containing the two stone tablets, the 10 Commandments. [Revelation 11:18,19].  Obedience is what every parent is after. To make it possible, GOD Himself puts love for his holy law inside us under the New Covenant/Testament [Heb 8].

Lawlessness, or less law, is seen in 2. Thess 2 in these last days by the man of sin seated in GOD’S temple claiming to be god.  Only by claiming to change the day of worship can man put himself in the place of GOD.  It is said of them that they have the truth, but sadly, they do not love it, but also turn it into a lie.  The time has now come that Christianity no longer endures sound doctrines and turned to fables [or fiction] because in order to unite, they have to compromise or lie aside biblical teachings [2. Tim. 3:16; 4:3,4].

Also the carnal or unconverted mind and heart is incapable to keep GOD’S holy law [Romans 8:7] until he becomes partaker of the divine nature [1.Peter 1:23; 2.Pet.1:4] to escape the corruption that is in this world through the lust of the flesh.

In http://www.come2jesus.com.au/sabbath.htm , I show the history of the Sabbath.  Sunday was kept only in Rome and Alexandria.  The latter was an extension of Rome.  Emperor Constantine had moved to the east and vacated his seat to the papacy [see also Rev.13:2].  The Bishop of Florence [Italy] kept the Sabbath but when he had to visit Rome, he was harassed by the bishop there and kept both days.  Here the popular sayings, when in Rome, do as the Romans do, originated.  Rome claims responsibility for the change of the Sabbath which corresponds with Daniel 7:25 where it says that he spoke great words against GOD [such as the Priests during Mass claim to become the creator of their Creator ect.] and wore out the saints during their long reign of 1260 years on the thrones of the Caesars to burn Christians at the stake and torn them on the rack.  And thought to change GOD’S times and laws by removing the second of the 10 Commandments, splitting the last into two and moving up all the numbers.

Then the 4^th became the third etc..  God’s time from sundown was changed to the darkest hour of midnight by pope Gregory and of course the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday in the council of Laodicea.

Power given into the hands of the little horn in Daniel 7:25 was to be for 3 ½ times or years which is 1260 day of years just as in the 2300 of Daniel 8:14 and the 70 weeks of years in Daniel 9:24.  Antiochus Epiphanes II comes short by 6 month with his 3 literal years.  He also never grew exceedingly great like the papacy on the throne of Rome.  The little horn also is said to continue until the judgment [Daniel 7:8,9]. Which commenced at the end of the 2300 years in 1844 A.D. with the cleansing of the heavenly Sanctuary.  Here the second coming of JESUS is seen in verse 13.  Papal Rome reigned from 538 to 1798 A.D. and is now getting popular again with Protestantism, so much so that each country is willing to pay Millions of dollars for a papal visit with taxpayers money.

JESUS did not invent two new commandments, He just summarized the two tables of stone.  The first table shows us how to love GOD and the second is like unto it, how to love our fellow man.  I f anything, JESUS said, love as I have loved you, or, keep my commandments as I have kept my Father’s commandments.

BREAKING ONE means Breaking TEN
"Whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."-James 2:10; Matth.5:19

The Ten Commandments are interlocked each one with every other one. For example, if a person works on the seventh day of the week [Saturday], he/she has broken the fourth commandment outright. But the commandment says, "The Seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy GOD." [Exodus 20:8-12; Matthew 12:8].
Now when a person takes what belongs to another for him/herself, we call this stealing. So when we break the fourth, the eights is also broken.
But before stealing, there is an intense and illegitimate desire for the thing he/she steals, an in such desire the tenth commandment is broken, that of coveting.
When man puts himself so entirely first, so fully before GOD as to covet and steal from Him, what other command does he/she break? "Thou shalt have no other god's before Me."
When man puts own interests more to him than his relationship to his Maker GOD, he becomes a god himself for we read in the new testament that "whose god is their belly" [Phil.3:19] just as we say that their god is the mighty dollar.
Making an Idol of himself!
There is another commandment so closely related, it is the second. It is true that he/she has not made a literal and tangible image, but what is the difference of worshipping one's self in a stone image or in one's own person and self opinion? Five already broken!
GOD'S name in the fourth of the Ten Commandments tells us that He is Maker/Creator of heaven and earth. This alone distinguishes Him from all other gods. It is the only place in the Decalogue where He affixed His holy name. It tells us of our obligation to Him. Now when we disobey in such a reckless way, we are using His name in vain and have no reverence for Him as we ought to have.

And that is not all. Many person's say, "It makes no difference which day you keep holy, just as long as you will keep one out of seven. But GOD says where His name is signed, that the seventh day is His Sabbath, in it we are not to work. If we do, we are breaking also the fifth commandment which says to honor your parents and GOD is our heavenly Father. "Wherefore come out from among them, and be you separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you. And I will be a Father to you."---2.Corinthians 6:17,18. This makes eight commandments broken in transgressing only one.

We have not finished. Committing Suicide. "The wages of sin is death."---Romans 6:23  "The soul that sinneth, it shall die."---Ezekiel 18:4   "Sin is the transgression of the law."---1 John 3:4 without it we could not tell what sin is [see also Romans 7:7]. In this wholesale transgression of GOD'S law, what is the sinner bringing upon himself? What is he/she doing to self? Taking your own life.

And the last to complete the ten? "Thy Maker is thine Husband: the Lord of hosts is His name; and thine Redeemer the holy One of Israel; the GOD of the whole earth shall He be called." Isaiah 54:5 Commandment breaking is not only disobedience, backsliding and worldliness, but also spiritual adultery: "You adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship with the world is enmity with GOD?" James 4:4  This spiritual adultery is forbidden by the seventh commandment. It was spiritual apostasy that led the doctors of the church in Rome to conform to the worldly practice of Sunday keeping in honor of the sun which bears its title. While they deceived people by saying it is in honor of Christ's resurrection it was from the rising sun and the edict of Rome's Emperor Constantine the Great never mentioned Christ at all in his Sunday law.
 

Summery:

Only the born again Christian who has become partaker of the divine nature is able to keep the spirituality of that holy moral spiritual law of the 10 Commandments or any other godly ordinance in love instead of coercion or legalism.  This kind of person has no fear of the judgment but has become GOD-fearing.  The heavenly Advocate has no trouble representing him in court.  JESUS Himself makes up for any of his shortcomings or deficiency.  Only to such person can it be said that there is now no condemnation [Romans 8:1] who are truly in CHRIST JESUS.

Therefore CHRIST died and rose for him who allows CHRIST’S righteousness of His holy spiritual law inside him [Romans 8:3+4; 7:7-14].  Such person dies to self and sin daily [Gal.2:20] and doesn’t remain dead, but rises in newness of life by the resurrection power of GOD.

This is not like the person who said he was saved once at such and such a date.  We must be born again every day for the rest of our lives.

The Churches of Christendom have made May the 7^th 2006 the first Ten Commandments “remembrance day”.  Ironically, the only one of the 10 Commandments that asks us to remember it is the very one they like to forget!
